StRUT Competition

On April 4, 2009, the robotics students competed in the Students Recycling Used Technology (StRUTS) competition. StRUT is a program incorporated into schools where students gain valuable technical and business management skills and the confidence they need to complete in the "High Tech" industry. Students involved in StRUT evaluate, repair and refurbish donated computers and in turn distribute those computers free to local schools. The program also provides a materials e-waste program to reduce landfill contents by responsible recycling and reclamation.
